The client had been in market for three months to appoint a leader to this position. They needed someone who could do two things:
- Lead a third-party risk management and procurement division of 50 people
- Transform that division
The transformation mandate included:
- Redesigning the third-party risk management process
- Reviewing third-party risk tiering to ensure correct identification and classification
- Supporting the contract management structure, working with the supplier relationship management team to
- define the structure, roles and responsibilities
Over those three months, the client interviewed a number of candidates; however, they had not secured the right person. The client then engaged Momentum Search & Selection to complete the search.
